LipoLink™ is a novel type of unilamellar liposome where the active ingredient is not encapsulated but directly linked to the phospholipids by Van der Waals bonds. As a result, LipoLink™ behaves like an active carrier, transporting the active ingredients through the skin to their target site (in vivo test). Protected inside LipoLink™, the actives are less sensitive to oxidation and degradation. When water is added, LipoLink™ forms spontaneously small vesicle similar to Liposome.
